Our Company Experience...

Building on Our First Half Century:

Soon after Mr. Louis Green returned from his duties in W.W.II, he began the Louis A. Green Corp. Now entering its 60th year, the business continues to supply webbing, cord and custom straps to a wide range of customers worldwide.

Our production department has progressed from handling small shop runs to now focusing on higher volume production of industrial straps using computerized cutters and programmable sewing machines.

Experience with all types of webbing:

Over the years, we stocked surplus military cotton and nylon webbings, a large inventory of seat belt webbing and polyester webbings. We also carried a standard line of colors in 1" commercial nylon & polypropylene webs and metal & plastic hardware. Given a significant shift in product types and manufacturing locations, we currently carry a much leaner inventory but our experience in the business still allows us to locate hard-to-find webbings, both military specification and commercial as special orders.

Specialty products currently stocked include unique items such as PVC-coated weldable webbing and keder.

Industrial strap production:

Our manufacturing capabilities include hot and cold cutting, computer-controlled sewing, drilling, and the application of a wide array of metal and plastic hardware. We are ready to work with industrial strap users on design concepts and production efficiencies.

We learned from a wide range of customers

Over the years, we served the needs of a wide range of customers. Some customers, like small retail fabric shops, purchased a roll or two of webbing every year. Larger industrial concerns purchase materials like seat belt in cases of cut lengths or pallets of mill rolls. We have produced hundred of different types of custom straps with many types of hardware and stitching configurations. We still make standard web straps for movers, ambulances, and for cargo restraint.

Our experience enables us to work with industrial designers and operations engineers to create many kinds of straps. Our primary emphasis is on heavy duty straps for material handling, cargo control, one-way packaging, and other industrial applications.
