We distribute keder made in England by the J. J. Carter Company, a proven engineer and builder of lightweight, tensile structures. The color-coded keder core is solid but flexible PVC. 
Note that the thickness of the fabric wrapping the PVC core increases the diameter of the overall core -- be sure you are certain of your measurements.  The quality of keder from J. J. Carter is assured by years of practical experience and by testing in some very ambitious structures.

Custom Order Keder

Various applications may require:

 specialty fabrics, custom colors, different flange dimensions, asymmetrical flange dimensions, single flange (for hot air welding), no flanges (for sewing) and/or other custom configurations.

Please inquire about lead times and minimums.
JJ Carter differentiates core sizes by a system of color coding. Thus you can confidently reorder your ideal sizes after initially determining the necessary dimensions. We recommend the "b" dimension (Core + Fabric) to be approx. two-thirds the size of the track through which the keder will be pulled. 
Repair Keder 
When keder is damaged, usually at the ends of a run from tearing on insertion into tracks, it can be cut off and replaced with a strip of Repair Keder. This product has extra wide flanges so it can be welded to the broad material beyond the remaining old flange after the damaged keder tube has been removed. Sold in several sizes and small quantities to service your repair and maintenance needs. A busy shop should keep several yards of the sizes they use regularly on the shelf.

Insertion Shape Welding Die  
High frequency welders can use a specially shaped die that actually produces a bullet-nose shape on your keder ends to seal and stabilize the ends and to insure easy insertion into a mounting track.
